The Summary: The Johnson Group is looking for an experienced Paid Media Manager to join our team. As a Paid Media Manager, you will own the online marketing campaigns and help drive results for our clients. You will drive performance through daily team and account management, optimization and strategy. You will work closely with the Directors and Account Executives to report, relay trends, provide insights, strategies and implement optimizations. You will have freedom as long as you deliver results. The Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a paid Social Media subject matter expert
  • Formulate paid digital media strategy and ensure that recommendations and decisions are consistent with client objectives
  • Develop integrated digital marketing strategies in collaboration with other departments and client teams
  • Ensure accurate implementation and lead ongoing optimizations of digital media activity
  • Lead paid social (Meta/TikTok/LinkedIn) and programmatic campaign updates at regular client meetings, status calls, and present potential areas of growth
  • Work with vendors and agency partners
  • Research new and emerging trends within our client’s industries

The Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience working with paid media advertising in an agency environment
  • B2B and direct-to-consumer social and programmatic media experience, with an emphasis in direct response campaigns
  • Deep understanding of paid social (Meta/TikTok/LinkedIn) and programmatic marketing tactics and experience with media buys
  • In-depth knowledge of social and programmatic media platforms and how to define and reach a target audience
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Facebook Analytics, and marketing attribution models, Trade Desk
  • Client facing experience – in-person presentations and video conferencing
  • Ability to independently activate, manage, and optimize campaigns

Requirements That Would Impress Further:

  • Experience with managing Paid Search campaigns
  • Advanced Google Analytics setup and configurations
  • Excel macro experience
  • Advance Google Tag Manager experience
  • Experience working with call tracking solutions i.e. Marchex, IfByPhone, Mongoose Metrics
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and WordPress
  • Outside-of-the-box thinking
