The Summary: Johnson Group is looking for an experienced Paid Media Manager to join our team. As a Paid Media Manager, you will own the online marketing campaigns and help drive results for our clients. You will drive performance through daily team and account management, optimization, and strategy. You will work closely with the Directors and Account Executives to report, relay trends, provide insights, strategies, and implement optimizations. You will have freedom as long as you deliver results. We are looking for a self-motivated, data-driven individual who thrives in a competitive environment to help grow our book of high-profile clients.

The Responsibilities:

  • Build & manage paid digital campaigns across search and social
  • Effectively create strategy, define goals, manage client expectations and optimize campaigns for continued improvement
  • Develop integrated digital marketing strategies in collaboration with other departments and client teams
  • Ensure accurate implementation and lead ongoing optimizations of digital media activity
  • Lead paid campaign updates at regular client meetings, status calls, and present potential areas of growth
  • Oversee the execution of the strategy by members of the team, offering feedback and guidance
  • Work with vendors and agency partners
  • Research new and emerging trends within our client’s industries

Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience managing Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Bing Ads
  • B2B and direct-to-consumer social and search media experience, with an emphasis in direct response campaigns
  • Deep understanding of paid search and social marketing tactics and experience with media buys
  • In-depth knowledge of social and search media platforms, best practices and how to define and reach a target audience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Facebook Analytics, and marketing attribution models
  • Client facing experience – in-person presentations and video conferencing
  • Ability to independently plan, activate, manage, and optimize campaigns

Requirements That Would Impress Further:

  • Experience with account automation (budget pacing, bidding, campaign creation)
  • Experience working with large franchise clients
  • Experience with managing programmatic campaigns
  • Advanced Google Analytics setup and configurations
  • Excel macro experience
  • Google Tag Manager experience
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and WordPress
  • Outside-of-the-box thinking
