The Role: Paid Media Associate

The Summary: We are looking for an articulate, detail-oriented, and organized individual to join our team as a Paid Media Associate. This entry-level role requires exceptional attention to detail, the ability to juggle multiple tasks and responsibilities with accuracy, and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will have some prior exposure to media work through internships or 1–2 years of experience, particularly in search, social, and digital media channels. This Associate will work closely with Paid Media Managers and Senior Media Managers to support multi-media campaigns across multiple clients and contribute to the success of our team.
The Responsibilities:
Media Platform Support:
- Search: Implement and manage Search campaigns across multiple accounts. An
understanding of Search and experience with Google Search is a plus. - Social: Support Meta campaigns and other Social Media platforms. Exposure to Meta’s
Business Manager platform or experience across various platforms is highly preferred. - Programmatic & Traditional Media: Prior experience is a bonus but not required.
Campaign Management Support:
- Assist in campaign setup and trafficking for digital media campaigns, including paid search, paid social, and programmatic.
- Collaborate with Media Managers to ensure successful campaign setup and execution, meeting client objectives throughout the flight.
Billing Management:
- Manage billing processes and maintain accurate documentation.
- Work with finance team to ensure timely and accurate billing while addressing discrepancies.
Budget Management:
- Monitor pacing and ensure budgets are spent according to plan.
- Support tracking and optimization of budget allocations for campaigns.
Reporting Support:
- Assist Managers in creating reports and analyzing campaign performance.
- Proactively identify and flag pacing or performance concerns for review.
- Gather data for planners and buyers, including competitive spending reports and insertion order accuracy checks.
Qualifications:
- College degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business preferred.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and professionally.
- Exposure to media work, especially search, social, or digital channels, is preferred.
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, Drive). Experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is beneficial.
- A proactive, team-oriented attitude and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
