The Summary: Johnson Group is looking for an experienced Paid Media Manager to join our team. As a Paid Media Manager, you will own online marketing campaigns and help drive results for our clients. You will drive performance through daily team and account management, optimization, and strategy. You will work closely with the Senior Media Manager, Associate Director, and Account Executives to report, relay trends, provide insights, strategies, and implement optimizations. We are looking for a self-motivated, data-driven individual who thrives in a competitive environment to help advance our digital campaigns across our clients.
This is a full-time, remote position, working under an Associate Media Director.

The Responsibilities:

  • Platform Experience:
    • Serve as a Digital subject matter expert across Social, Search, and Programmatic:
      • We are looking for direct experience with the following platforms: Meta, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Google, Display, CTV, OLV, Audio
    • Bonus: retailer experience in the CPG space (such as Walmart, Kroger, etc.) managing Display and PLA-style tactics
    • Bonus: experience working with and vetting influencers
  • Campaign Management:
    • Help oversee campaign planning and implementation alongside the Senior Media Manager across accounts
    • Help lead team members with implementation and reporting across client campaigns
    • Help lead retailer communication and deliverables for CPG clients
    • Help lead billing each month – showcasing attention to detail and organization by managing all active media budgets
    • Aid in digital media strategy and ensure that recommendations and decisions are consistent with client objectives
    • Ensure accurate implementation and lead ongoing optimizations of digital media activity
    • Lead campaign updates on internal calls
    • Work with vendors and agency partners

Skills and Experience:

  • 2-4 years of experience working with paid media advertising in an agency environment
  • Direct-to-consumer social and programmatic media experience, with an emphasis in retailer space
  • Deep understanding of social, programmatic, and SEM marketing tactics and experience with media buys
  • In-depth knowledge of social and programmatic media platforms and how to define and reach a target audience
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Facebook Analytics, marketing attribution models, Trade Desk
  • Strong skills in MS Excel, Google Suite/Apps, Asana, and various third-party tools for research, testing, and reporting at scale
  • Ability to independently activate, manage, and optimize campaigns
  • Nice to have: Client-facing experience – in-person presentations and video conferencing
  • Nice to have: retailer experience (in the CPG space)
