Northwest Lineman College
Northwest Lineman College trains thousands of linemen each year at its campuses across the country and on-site at businesses nationwide. NLC’S parent company has the largest skilled labor force in North America, including electric, telecommunications, and natural gas technician workers. However, there is a growing shortage of skilled laborers in these positions due to a large wave of retirement, lack of trained replacements, and double-digit job growth inthese industries.
Our challenge was to help Northwest Lineman College expand and fill their classes at their campusesacross the county.
Using Facebook & YouTube demographic targeting in conjunction with a consumer development index, we were able to find the markets with the highest concentration of blue-collar jobs available for people within our target age range and drive qualified leads to our newly redesigned website tofacilitate online conversion.
Through market research, demographic targeting, and creative tailored to our target audience, we were able to increase our total website traffic, leads, and enrollments. In fact, enrollments went up nearly 50% from the prior year.
Our redesign of the NLC website to meet Best CRO Practices was a key factor in nearly doubling theirconversion rate.
